The Hua Xian Chinese Society organised a day trip to enjoy a day out in Liverpool exploring the museums and heritage of the city. It was kindly supported by Councillor Tony Jones through Lancashire County Council Local Members Grants to help low-income families from the area to take part.
Our stops included Liverpool Museum, Liverpool Albert Docks, famous sites of The Beatles, Liverpool Cathedrals and Chinatown.
Over 53 adults and children joined us from the different communities of Lancaster and Morecambe including people of Chinese, English, Indian, Pakistani and Indonesian heritage. Needless to say it was thoroughly enjoyed by and everyone is already looking forward to next year’s day trip!
