The work by the volunteers were recognised at the Lancaster District Volunteer awards hosted by Lancaster District CVS. This event is to help promote the work of groups and show examples of people who make a difference to the local community through volunteering.

We were pleased to take part and recieve awards for our work. Three of our volunteers also received individual awards for their dedication and contribution to the work of the Hua Xian Chinese Society. Congratulations to Sibyl Chen, Dolly Vaidya and Elizabeth Clack!
